Hello! I'm Jihun, a native Korean teacher from South Korea with over **5 years of teaching experience**. Before becoming a full-time Korean tutor, I worked as a professional teacher in Korea, teaching mathematics and science to students of different ages. Through those years, I developed the ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple, organized, and engaging way. Today, I use those same teaching skills to help students learn Korean with confidence. I currently teach learners from many different countries, especially English and Japanese speakers, from complete beginners to advanced students. Whether your goal is daily conversation, grammar, pronunciation, travel, work, or simply enjoying Korean culture, I will create lessons that fit your needs and learning style. I believe every student learns differently, so I don't follow a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I adapt each lesson to your level, pace, and goals. My lessons are personalized for each student rather than following a fixed curriculum. For beginners, I provide a strong foundation in Hangul, pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and basic grammar. As students progress, lessons become more conversation-focused while continuing to build grammar naturally through practical examples. Intermediate and advanced learners can improve speaking fluency, expand vocabulary, discuss various topics, and receive detailed feedback to sound more natural. I use a variety of learning materials to keep lessons interesting and effective, including: * PDF notes and textbooks * Presentation slides * Images and videos * Audio materials * News articles and authentic content * Quizzes and review exercises * Homework (optional, depending on your goals) I also prepare my own teaching materials to make grammar easier to understand and provide lesson notes so you can review what you've learned after class. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where you feel confident asking questions and making mistakes.
