About automatic translation

Tutor profiles are translated into the language your browser asks for. We use your browser's language setting rather than your IP address — location is often wrong for people travelling, using a VPN, or living in a multilingual country.

Korean pages always stay in Korean. On English pages, if your browser asks for one of the languages below, tutor profiles switch to it. Anything not on the list falls back to English.

• About-me and lesson descriptions
• Lesson topic tags set by the tutor
• Reviews written by students

Translated text is marked so you can always switch back — look for “Show original” on a tutor's profile.

• Chat with your tutorMessages are delivered as written. Running them through a translator can change what was meant.
• Learning guide articlesThese are written directly in Korean and English. For other languages, use your browser's translation.
• Lesson materials and attachmentsThe contents of files uploaded by tutors are not translated.
• Terms and Privacy PolicyThese are legally binding documents, so only the Korean and English originals are provided.
